It is a part of huamn nature to try and make order and sense out of everything around us. In my work I often use the 'machine' as a metaphor for life. However life is not like a well oiled predictable machine, it is more like an anarchic unpredictable machine that refuses to do what it is told. This painting developed from such ideas. less «
