I see the Canadian wilderness as an entity of its own, all I can do is capture its great mystery. I enter into a dialogue with my environment when I spend time there to document it. As a Canadian, nature is a part of my heritage. As a descendant of settlers who fought to stay in this country, I feel in some way that this land does not belong to me, I belong to the land. less «
