I am among very few Anthropologists in Pakistan who did their Masters field work in very remote areas on BHILS (untouchables) and M.Phil research work in Balakot on earthquake affected people. My department management and faculty members credited my work as an outstanding. I have almost five years of professional experience mostly on Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Management, Education, peace and gender and development while working with International as well as National organizations. My expertise lies in Gender, Interfaith harmony through advocacy and lobbying, Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Management, Education, Monitoring and Evaluation, Project development, Research and coordination, capacity building through training organizing and conducting and report writing and designing. I worked during major disasters in Pakistan like October 08, 2005 earthquake (Balakot, Muzaffarabad, Mansehra and Abbottabad), 2006 flash flood Garhi Habibullah, 2008 Baluchistan(Turbat) and Sindh (Shahdadkot) Cyclone, 2008 Rajanpur flood, 2008 Baluchistan Earthquake (Quetta and Ziarat), 2009 emergency response for the IDPS of swat and Bunner and currently engaged in super flood 2010. I independently led the humanitarian projects either they were food distribution, NFI distribution, reviving agricultural land, cash for work, industrial homes, computer centers, trainings on socio‐psychological or trauma healing. I also participated in surveys with UN cluster teams during need assessment, damage assessment and situation analysis. I am cultural and gender sensitive and enjoy working in emergencies:-) PEACE!
