The word "matrix" means "womb" in Latin. This is my interpretation of silence as both mother and child, womb and foetus, soil, seed and flower. It is in the nothingness and yet, absolute of silence that the first drop of sound forms and it is silence that is the beginning of every sound itself. Silence is everything and nothing, the cycle of life itself. Death, birth, death. Silence, sound, silence. less «
