Studied graphic design for 2 years at Epsom School of Art 1980-82 (OND Graphic Communication) and 2 years at Cornwall College 1982-84 (HND Graphic Design). I have worked as a freelance graphic designer/art director for 21 years and have been employed full-time for 3 years.

My passion and inspiration for painting is derived from places I visit regularly; landscapes of Southern England, South West England; coastal scenery and dramatic skies.

I try to capture the essence of the scene in an impressionist and personal way, working from sketches and photographs to create a finished painting. Constantly striving to extend my skills in water-based mediums and often combine this with pastels.

I am a member of Croydon Art Society which he regularly exhibits with and have had work commissioned by the Medici Society and private commissions.
