I don't remember when I began drawing. I do remember where I drew my first picture. As far back as I can recall, I was deeply in love with the world of art. I was sitting at a small desk in Monterrey, Mexico, at La Casa De La Madre. It was a very old spanish house with many rooms, balconies, and patios. My grandmother was a social worker and helped many people who came to see her. My uncle had an art studio in the upstairs of the house. That is where I chose to spend the great majority of my time. Many years have past since then. My uncle has gone but I still speak to him through my art. Just as I speak to you now.
