As an Actress, Etaka Eyong... read more Miss Etaka Eyong Elsie: Miss Etaka Eyong Elsie is a girl of 25 years old and currently holds a Bachelors Degree in Communication from the University of Douala – Cameroon. As an Actress, Etaka Eyong Elsie runs a theatre group ‘Pilgrimage inside You’, and worked as a volunteer on a number of information technology programs including, Cameroon Radio and Television Station in Douala and Christian Broadcasting Service radio station, Buea. She held various positions including Youth Policy Group Coordinator, Commercial Agent, and Youth Speak. School Prefect and President of the Christian Youth Fellowship. She researched on the use of mobile phones in rural Manjo. She has presented youth issues at decision making levels including the media, and the First International Youth Forum. She investigated the impact of HIV/AIDS upon the social and educational development of adolescent orphans due to AIDS who are living in child-headed households. Further inhibiting factors on these adolescents' development are generated by abject poverty, social discrimination, and a lack of parental, social, and educational support. Miss Etaka Eyong Elsie is currently serving as the Coordinator of the Youth Policy Group (YPG) in Cameroon, Evangelism Secretary of the Christian Youth Fellowship – Presbyterian Church Bonamoussadi, Leader of the Young Presbyterians. Miss Etaka Eyong Elsie loves theatre arts and has organized several public plays to entertain groups during manifestations. She is born in Mamfe and raised in Douala where she did her High School and university education. She is a committed Christian and loves research, music and tours. She is fluent in English and good in French and Ejaka/Kenyan
