Since the WYC Scotland 2005, where I went as a young journalist I wanted to start a project in my own and other countries. During the schoolyear 2005-2006, I went to Ecuador, where I worked in a school for deaf children and spent some time as an intern in a public hospital. Last summer 2007 set up an exchange project of letters between Belgian and South-African youngsters. Two of my best friends joined me to South Africa, where we gave poetryworkshops, talked with local poets and writers, learnt to live with the African time, ... and made a lot of unforgettable friends. I hope I can be the change in my own little way! I want to thank all the people who are helping me to achieve my dreams. Thanks Rotary Salinas, Diana Ferrus, Selwyn Millborrow, Els Beerten, Jeugd en Poëzie, my friends, Pieter Goossens, my parents, ... Currently I'm a boardmember and chair of the Journal Committee of UNSA Maastricht. UNSA stands for United Nations Student Association. We inform the students in Maastricht University about the UN by workshops, lectures and even a real MUN (Model United Nations) next spring (april 2008). If you want to apply: www.euromun.org
