During my first time in Toronto (well, my first time out of the airport in Toronto!) I walked over to city hall. It was another one of those experiences where I stand in front of a symbolic place that I'd heard about and seen on TV countless times before, but only now experienced for myself. Being that I grew up in a small town in the middle of nowhere, these kinds of experiences are becoming more common as I travel more frequently. They are reminders of the feelings of 'nothing happens where I live' that I grew up with. less «
