This photo captures my apartment. This is where I am building a family, spending my off-work hours and learning to balance a life in the working world with what it means to be a husband. Reflecting on what it means to have a ‘home’, to know that there is a place where I can go and rest and feel safe is an incredible privilege. Having traveled the world, I know how rare and important it is to have a sense of ‘home’. Photography serves works to instantly capture moments like these and this project has made me think more articulately about the small moments of beauty that we can find in simple places if we take the time to look. less «
