We looked through the news papers available in Montreal and selected the images and text that interested us most. We created a collage expressing our interest in current representations of Canada in the media. Our selections were made quickly by whatever made an impression. There were some surprising items in the news. We do read newspaper sometimes but not everyday. We discussed which papers we read and what seemed like important Canadian news for us. Themes developed through choosing and arranging our newspaper clippings.
