I blog about orangutans on coffeewithtowan.blogspot.com and have just been invited by Shawn Thompson, the author of the Intimate Ape, to contribute to his blog. It is my dream to spend time in the jungle learning more about these incredible creatures, while helping to restore their forest home.

This is my pitch to spend five months in Borneo with people from around the world, all working toward the same goal: restoring the habitat of wild orangutans. This is an amazing project that will change the way that young people think about conservation!
