This is a photograph I took of Todaiji temple in Nara, Japan. It is was declared one of the world heritage sites by UNESCO. It is said to be the world's largest wooden building. However, the current building is a reconstruction built in 1962 and is said to be two thirds the size of the original. It houses the "Daibutsu", Japan's largest statue of Buddha. less «
