Embedded in Canadian culture is the importance of landscapes. From the group of seven to summers spent at cottage country, a sense of Canadian identity community is fostered in nature. This photo about an hour outside of Toronto and I took a photo of it once a week for several months, recording its position and transformations in the season--- an aspect of Canadian identity that we endure, but do not always celebrate.
