The Summer Shore of the Bay of Chaleur
A hint of salt in the air on a sunny winter day always reminds me of the many summers spent growing up along the North Shore of New Brunswick. When the snow melts there are always many treasures to be found. For example, the frame is made of beach wood found while I swimming in the Bay of Chaleur. The brown beach glass is a rare find amongst the green and white pieces. But what really defines my Canadian identity are the friendly smiling faces I meet along the shore when I am fishing, beachcombing, swimming or sitting around a beach fire.
