I am a recent... read more Hi TIG World, Having grown up in South Africa, I moved to Toronto 5 years ago and have spent the last couple of years studying, traveling and falling in love with this great city. I am a recent graduate of the University of Toronto, where I earned a BA Honors in History, Religion and Cinema Studies. I have been lucky enough to have had the opportunity to study in both Italy and England, which has given me the chance to come into contact with and learn from new and diverse cultures and societies. My extensive travels and experiences have shown me how vital education and access to information are in order to encourage youth from around the globe to innovate and become active seekers of positive change. I am an avid believer that cross-cultural awareness is one of the most important aspects of improving our global society because before we can help each other, we need to be able to understand each other. I am excited to be a part of the TIG community. To learn from, and work with youth from around the globe in order to make a difference in our societies, both at home and around the world.
