Geographically "Peru" have a big challange for being a country with a difficult region like the Andes. Since Inca's time native people of Peru (Quechuas) have been know how to live in harmony in this beautiful and hard region. The image of this mother is the symbol of million of quechuas-peruvians mothers that take care with her children and works at the same time in a place that is lovely and strong. They are mothers who fight everyday for surviving and mantaining also their ancient traditions. I took this pic in "Ollantaytambo - Peru" next to an Incas Fortress big and hard like the spirit of this mum. I used a Canon 3000, originally jumbo size. January 2002.
