I was thinking about moments in the camps when photographers took pictures of inmates. What were they thinking about when the camera shutter clicked? Were they curious, ashamed, maybe angry at the photogragher? Did they know exactly how they wanted their image portrayed? Could they have nothing to think at all and just stared?
