Maimonedes was a Jewish thinker and Rabbi who lived in medieval Muslim Andalusia. He was famous by his mystical poetry, and his writings in Jewish theology. He used Arabic and Hebrew in his writings, and he was a clear example of the prosperity of the Jewish community in Andalusia, under the Tawa'if Kings.
