We need trees

Artist(s): Charmerine Calixte Organization: Haiti Ocean Project Trees are a valuable natural resource in Haiti, but they are being cut down daily to make coal, houses and canoes. Cutting down too many trees, leaves the mountains bare and unprotected when there are hurricanes and strong storms. The villages at the bottom of these mountains suffer. We need our trees. They shouldn't be cut down.
