The youth in our program began learning about free trade and ethical consumerism. As part of this unit the youth were asked to develop their own ethical products and create commercials to explain the products. In creating these projects the youth learned a lot about consumerism, globalization, and the impact that their purchasing choices have on both the planet and other groups in society.
