Our painting shows penguins, polar bears, coral reefs and the ocean itself getting destroyed due to the dangerous activities of humans. In Hindu mythology, the tortoise carries the world on its back, upholding the Earth and the sea. We are showing the devastating march of humans destroying everything in their path. The poor turtle can no longer bear the atrocities of mankind and is getting crushed! All the creatures are pleading with man, “ tread softly... you are treading on our home....”
