Hope versus Fear
HOPE VS FEAR
For many students like me, the concept of climate change was limited to books, posters, debates and snippets of news.
But in recent years being the first hand witness of the small changes in our environment has got me thinking. For years we've been taught that as humans it is our duty to leave the world a better place for the next generation. But now it seems like we might be running out of time to make the world a better place for even ourselves.
Now in my heart the fear of the destruction that will follow climate change seems more tangible than the hope for a solution.
My artwork shows the internal battle, that I and many other youngsters like myself face, between fear and hope of survival of life on Earth.
I believe we have been hiding from the truth, been deceiving ourselves and passing the blame and responsibility for the condition our home.

My artwork was my personal little fight to face the fear of climate change and learn to hold on to the hope.
