Me gusta demasiado mi país: COSTA RICA! "Vivir en Costa Rica es Tuanis! y, ser de Costa Rica es PURA VIDA!! EN: Livin' in Peace, Livin' Costa Rica I like a lot to help my fellows and live great adventures, that’s why I think the volunteer programs is a way to cover both fields. I love the photography, in special, to take pictures to those little details of places and people that for many people pass through undetected. I love to know more about other cultures and hear tails, stories or legends from different people, because “each PERSON is a WORLD and each WORLD is full of GREAT experiences!!!” I like a lot my country: COSTA RICA! “Live in Costa Rica is TOO NICE! and, to be from Costa Rica is PURA VIDA!!! ---- My BIOgraphy ---- CHILDHOOD I was born in a little town called San Rafael, Montes de Oca, years before the city of San Jose absorb it. My house was rounded by coffee plantation, places where I used to play "Hide and seek", but now those lands are going to be condominiums. SCHOOL AND HIGH SHCOOL I studied in a private school during 11 years (the school and middle school), place where I met good people and learned part of the English language. Then for high school I decided to move to a Public Technical High School (9th grade) so I can learned a vocation (electronics) for my future. Unexpectedly I met some low resourced people that helped me a lot, and they taught me more about the Costa Rican reality and how some people fight a lot to keep surviving in this society. I kept studying English in an institution where I learned the most. During my high school I had the opportunity to go to a high school in California, USA for one month. That experience was amazing! Some people didn't were very nice, but, it helped me to understand the difference that exist between cultures. In October 2006' I worked for a very well known fast food restaurant in San Jose Downtown, but I kept working until April 2007 because the experience was great even though the wage wasn't. Then, for the High School Internship, I worked in electronics for 2 months in the Costa Rican National Bank (Banco Nacional de Costa Rica, in Spanish) institution that helped me to define what career studying in the university, Business Administration. UNIVERSITY I am now in the University of Costa Rica (UCR) studying business administration. I am very proud to be in this institution because my mom get graduated from there. Thanks to this university I recently made a volunteer program in Santa Rosa National Park, in the Guanacaste Conservation Area (declared Human Heritage by the UNESCO). And now, I am living the LIFE, under the conceptions of helping my fellows, nature, my beautiful country, Costa Rica, and my home, the WORLD.
