The best subject to use in that type of situation would surely be the current status of the Québec. This issue presents a situation close to us and relevant in a study in economics or finance. Despite the low popularity of these subjects among young adults, it is imperative to teach them, at least, a certain base. In this context, there’s my vision of the Quebec of today. I will try to clearly express my opinion on the Quebec political scene today without bothering me to grate on some unorthodox methods of governments. First, it is important to be aware and warned of problems in society that threatens Quebec and its functioning. Quebec is poorly governed, or rather, not governed. The political parties of the opposition only provide marginal ideas to the Liberal government currently in place. Nothing really significant is being made of the political scene. Apart from those problems at The Parliament, there is several others involving Quebec society. The lack of workers, the huge amount of student dropouts in high school, the health system already bombed out and underfunded universities are some examples. The people, moreover, are facing: the aging, debt and international pressure. And for the future, what's coming? Three revolutions are about to hit us: 1. Globalization (mainly Asian competition, Quebec's economic policies in loss of efficiency, insufficient political offer etc.). 2. Scientific and technological advancement 3. Egocentric individualism (no social project in Quebec) Then, several solutions are within our reach. Indeed, Quebec appears to have the necessary to reconstruction within its ranks. We have a great situation in hydroelectric energy and we are leaders in technology and engineering. To change the situation, I propose to encourage citizen to make more savings and invest in young talents. It is the prosperity that provides security to workers. We must therefore rely on youth in tracking their problems as soon as possible. Everyone can do their part by strengthening Quebec every day using help proposed by the government that is still not negligible. In conclusion, Quebec is far from having hit rock bottom. It is difficult to evaluate the magnitude of the situation since no one has seen objectively the ups and downs in the history of Quebec's 402 years. There are very demanding changes to be made but they are not too difficult for the young Quebec of only 12 generations but so rich in history and culture. Prosperity, hope, liberty and justice
