I am... read more Hi, I am a professional ICT consultant and work in the areas of Knowledge Management Advisory, Web Design/ Webmaster, Writer and Free & Open Source Software FOSS Advocacy based in Pakistan. I am Co-Founder and General Secretary of FOSSFP: Free and Open Source Software Foundation of Pakistan, an organization that promotes the adoption and usage of Free & Open Source Software FOSS Technologies and Platforms for sustainable humanitarian socio-economic development with a special emphasis on Women and Youth. FOSSFP works regionally and globally promoting the commons towards creating a justful society where ICTs and FOSS help in comabting poverty including unethical practices like software piracy and creating massive opportunities for employment. I am also leading training activities in the region as the Head of the FOSSFP-FOSS Academy, an initiative that has trained and certified over 5000 people and 506 organizations in the region on the use of FOSS. I have represented my organization and country at various international forums abroad including the WSIS'05-World Summit on Information Society Tunisia 2005 and FOSSFA-IDLELO2 Nairobi, Kenya. I am looking forward to establishing relationships with individuals and organizations sharing similar interests related to human development through ICTs and FOSS.
