In October 2001 together with a few fellow students I have founded a Youth Organization... read more I have an MA in Business Administration from the Economy Department of Balti State University "Alecu Russo". In October 2001 together with a few fellow students I have founded a Youth Organization called 'Certitude' which goal is to promote youth civic engagement in social life through volunteer efforts to promote development of local communities. Our core priorities are Health, Social Entrepreneurship and Environment. I am a YouthActionNet Fellow 2009, part of a network of young social entrepreneurs from around the globe. I am an MTV Staying Alive Foundation's grantee, implementing the HIV Aware! Be Empowered - Act Positively project from December 2010 to December 2014. In July 2010 I have attended the XVIII International AIDS Conference in Vienna, Austria. In October 2010, I have spent 5 weeks in the Netherlands, France and Belgium, being awarded a fellowship from Nuffic (Dutch Agency for Cooperation in Higher Education) to attend the Project and Programme Management and Administration Training Course for Development Practicioners delivered by the Management for Development Foundation from the Netherlands. I have attended the Eastern European Youth Leadership Development Program in Berlin and Neuhardenberg Germany on the subject of EU institutions and politics. Between June, 5 and July 11, 2007 I was in the UK as a John Smith Fellow with the goal to advance democratic thinking and practices. I was awarded this fellowship from the British Council and John Smith Memorial Trust. In April 2007 I was awarded a small grant from the Alumni Resource Center from Moldova and organized three trainings on "Project Proposal Development" for more than 30 children from 3 different villages in the northern part of Moldova. I was awarded the 2nd place at the National Business Plan Competition for Youth in Moldova, on April 5th, with the idea "Clothes for Pregnants" - www.cbp2007.antim.org From May 30th nd June 23, I was part of the International Visitors Leadership Program "Youth Empowerment" organized by the US Department of State, which gathered 18 youth leaders from all over the world with the aim to build partnerships and learn about the youth initiatives in the United States. Between 15-18 May 2006 I have attended the 1'st Eastern European and Central Asian Conference on HIV/AIDS - "Facing the Challenge" held in Moskow. Between March 23 and March 26, 2006 I have attended the Carpathian ROAD – Towards A Diversified Rural Economy workshop, organized by the Open Society Institute and Carpathian Foundation in Timisoara, Romania. Between October 2005 - January 2006 I have participated in the 1st Regional Training on the Management of Sustainability, organized by Sustainability Challenge Foundation from the Netherlands and Regional Environmental Center from Moldova, in Kisinau, Moldova. Between 8 and 11 September 2004 I have attended the Young Leaders forum in Novy Saczy, Poland organized by the School For Leaders Association from Poland. There were around 80 youth leaders from Eastern and Central Europe who gathered in order to discuss issues that youth from the region face and start working together towards solving youth problems in the region. The main emphasis was on the state of youth in the context of enlarged EU, and especially collaboration between youth from EU Partner countries and non member states. We have met the president of Poland, and the president of Latvia, and they held a lecture on the topic of Youth Challenges and Problems in the region. In April 2003 I was granted a scholarship to attend the American Institute on Political and Economic Systems Summer School in Prague between 11 July and 4 August 2003. Between 6th and 23 May 2003 I was a translator and interpreter in the LEADER Project 2003 organized in collaboration with Richard Ivey Business School from Ontario University. Also I was negotiating with the Leader Project representatives prior to the classes. During the 1 month training we learned to make Marketing Analysis, Financial Analysis and Develop Marketing Strategies. From September 10th till October 10th I was coordinating the Moldova National Information Campaign in order to increase Awareness of the Youth from Moldova about the emergence and benefits of the Information Society and ICT's, and also promote the image of the WSIS among youth from Moldova and incent them to in volve in building a strong and efficient Informational Society linked to the international framework.
