It was a huge change coming from the busy capital of Manila to the seemingly peaceful Halifax, Nova Scotia. I did my undergrad through the University of King's College and Dalhousie University. I completed a Double Major in International Development Studies and Environment, Sustainability, and Society (probably the two most wordy majors ever). I'm passionate about the environment and technology, and I believe that innovation and the protection of our environment can go hand in hand towards sustainable progress. I've been interested in international development ever since I've seen the social and class dichotomies in the Philippines; and even moreso when I've seen the distinctions between Canada and my home country. In spite of these differences, one of the things I've always wanted to do is to produce a documentary or book of photographs that find the common values and visions people share from across the globe.
