The Activist

I created this mask and used it as part of a performance that I did entitled 'The Power to Create, The Power to Destroy'.<br /> <br /> Here is a description of the performance:<br /> This performance explores the relationship between nature,<br /> technology and culture. It involves elements of group <br /> interactivity and multimedia combined with movement, <br /> rhythm and striking images. The objective is to invoke<br /> a sense of awareness and consciousness around how <br /> nature and technology have the power to <br /> both create and destroy. <br /> <br /> I see 'The Activist' as a symbol of hope and struggle.
