Personally I feel that realism is the best symbolism you can have, but different people have different appreciations. I wanted to reflect the microcosm the Toronto Transit Commission has taken on: its apparent multiculturalism yet overwhelming unity mirrors the greater community that is Canada. The color changes also represent the daily cycle of the Sun and the Commission
