Painting... read more I'm a self taught watercolor artist and photograhper. I've been painting and shooting for 13 years. I've won numerous awards and have many collectors. Commission works available. Painting representational watercolor landscapes, wildlife, portraits and impressionistic florals. I paint because I have to. After working in a coal mine, 750 ft under ground and a maximum security penitentiary for 17 years I've witnessed the dark side of both mother nature and humanity. Painting takes me away from all that and allows me to create a momentary peaceful place in time to rest and be at ease. Beauty is in the ordinary objects and places around you.
