Composition on Photography workshop in 1994. Lighting workshop from Bangladesh Photographic Society in 1995. Workshop on Photo Marketing conducted by Stephen Mayes at Drik Picture Library in 1997. Completed Diploma in Photojournalism course from Pathshala- South Asian Institute of Photography in 1999. PHOTOGRAPHIC EXPERIENCE: Worked as freelance photographer from 1994 to 1995. Working as a staff photographer at Drik Picture Library from 1996 to 2005. Joined European Press Photo Agency (EPA) as a Photojournalist as Bangladesh correspondent in 2005. Experienced in portraits, corporate works, photojournalism and Documentary photography. Completed three years long seminar (Pleasure of Life) assigned and supported by World Press Photo Foundation- Netherlands. Worked as a photographer at Sorvis in Norway for three months. Photography tutor in the ‘Pathshala’-South Asian Institute of Photography, Dhaka. Conducted and coordinated many photographic workshops. AWARDS: Mother Jones International Fund for Documentary Photography Awards for ‘ Freedom Fighters: Veterans of the Bangladesh Liberation War of 1971’ works in 2001.
