This piece of art means that in Nepal there's a Hindu and Buddhist society and when two young people fall in love, the chances of a happy end is marred by the orthodox, conservative parents who have communal feelings towards other lower castes or clans, which is something terrible. That's why Nepalese literature and lyrics are replete with such unhappy stories and dramas in the shadow of the Himalayas.
