Brandenburg Gate Shooting into the sun for this photo really helps to illustrate just how hot it was that day! The Gate's dark outline against dazzling sunlight helps the image capture my memories of the great weather during the excursion.

Gates of Gold This is a painting I did of William Gaunt and John Bennett, for the play "Gates of Gold". It is a play by Frank McGuinness about two men who were lovers and started a theatre, the Gate Theatre in Ireland in the 60's. In the 60's it was illegal to be homosexual in Ireland, the play is about their struggle.

Gateway of India The Gateway of India was built in Bombay Harbour from 1914-20. It was opened on December 4, 1924 by the Viceroy, Earl of Reading. The last British troops to leave India, the First Battalion of the Somerset Light Infantry, passed through the gate in a ceremony on February 28, 1948. In the background is Bombay's famous Taj Mahal Hotel.
