What better for an artist than to be commissioned!??! Besides that or selling, it might be the emotional satisfaction and reward of a loved one receiving a gift which is unique and filled with passion and dedication.
I made this as a gift for a baptism. The invitation had this color penciled image I though was too cute so from there I got the idea to paint it on a small square canvas as a gift. Invitations eventually go lost or thrown away; I'm hoping this might be a good way to remember it forever.

This is another gift I made for a baptism. Just as the first one I used the images from the invitation. The string too was holding the card together; I used it to add to the painting.

another one (are babies booming or what?!?!!???!!!) this is my 4th baptism in the space of 2 months plus another coming up!! Well...I'm having lots of fun doing these gifts that's for sure :) So, same concept, string! cute
