Save paper, Save trees |
Paper Collages by students of Suncity School, India.
Description: Art is possible with the most mundane of materials. Recycling 1 ton of paper saves around 682.5 gallons of oil, 26,500 liters of water and 17 trees. Students learnt to find tints, tones, shades of a colour while also learning to reuse and recreate with old magazine paper. A Chain Reaction of Climate Change |
What we draw is a series of six pictures, representing a chain reaction of climate change. From the left to right, the drawings show that CO2 emitted by factories can cause increasing temperature, then the global warming leads to melting glaciers, which gives rise to the sea-level, and as the sea-level goes up, floods may take place and... Weddell Seal |
The Weddell Seals' habitat is disappearing as glaciers melt due to global warming. This is a problem for many antarctic species. The purpose of my work is to show how these animals are affected by our actions thus encouraging people to be more conscious about what they do.
