Later, I engaged with different NGOs and... read more I joined INSEC, a leading NGO for Human Rights and Social Justice in Nepal, as a Webmaster. There, I learned the importance of ICT for human rights. Later, I engaged with different NGOs and established Idea Action. Youth leads this for Youth, which deals with human rights, sustainable development and other related issues. This includes Nepal's culture of peace, non-violence and the information society. Similarly, working with UNOY, a Netherlands-based INGO, as an ISG member (2007-2009). My main interests lie in using ICT for peacebuilding, conflict transformation, and human rights to engage Youth. I have published several articles on these issues and international travel features. In international seminars/events, I attended the World Social Forum in Mumbai in January 2004. World South Asia regional meeting since 2004 with India Third International Youth Summer School in the UK in July 2004. Human Rights and Youth Leadership Conferenorganisedised by UNESCO Chair & Institute of Comparative Human Rights at the University of Connecticut, USA in Aug 2005, UN Regional expert seminar for Asia on Human Rights Education at the UN Building in Thailand on Sep 2005, Youth conference in Sydney, Australia on Feb 2006 and Youth Leadership Workshop on Nov 2006 in Washington DC, Organised by International Youth Foundation and NOKIA. UNOY - ISG Meeting in the Netherlands 2008. Awards I am a winner of the 2006 Youth Action Net award from the International Youth Foundation and Nokia, USA.
