Creativity in Quarantine

The COVID-19 pandemic has definitely altered our day to day lives, as we’ve transformed our in-person gatherings into virtual get-togethers. As we’re adjusting to this new normal, many things may have sparked our creativity which has become an outlet of well-being and self-expression.

We invite your imagination, voice and perspective on depicting visual representations that reflect upon the subject of creativity in quarantine. We are asking young artists from around the world to visually reflect and showcase what inspired them to be creative during these unpredictable times. Did you find creativity and inspiration:

  • During a walk in the park?
  • Drinking a cup of coffee or tea early in the morning?
  • Feeling connected to nature, the environment and what you eat?
  • A colourful mural in the street?
  • Enjoying the quietness of the city?
  • Hearing the waves at the lake or the ocean?
  • Talking on the phone with a friend or loved one?

We understand that creativity takes many shapes and forms and we invite you to be part of our online collection and exhibit. Our plan is to showcase images submitted as part of international conferences and gatherings with the aim of inspiring decision-makers and community leaders. With that in mind, please include a short description with the image or video that you submit to provide additional context on the meaning of what you have created.
