Costs of Living!

The relationship between man and earth has never been simple and sweet. Man, an animal, was just another biological being, a part of the mother nature until it realised the unique gift of nature: Intelligence. And there started the superiority complex of man. The intelligence that ought have been used to improve the symbiotic relationship between the man and nature went on to be used in a wrong way which divorced our interest from that of nature. We are still a part of nature, but do we still realise it? To let the forests thrive, to let the cohabitating species breathe, to let the animals have their homes..has become apparently contradictory to our so called economic interests. Economy is clashing with ecology. The implications are going to be harsh. Fresh air has started being sold in Oxygen parlours. We can't breathe without falling ill. We are needing airpurifiers and water purifiers. The diseases are increasing as fast as the species are vanishing. Sounds normal, does it not? But all this has been happening done only since the last century. We need to stop it. Planet is seeing the worst changes than it ever saw. These changes are disastrous and irreversible. And these changes are done by us, our greed and carelessness. Planet will survive anyhow. It's our survival today that we have to think about. And that includes survival of our flora and fauna. Because we need them more than they need us.
