UN Sustainable Development Goals
This piece of art represents the United Nations sustainable development goals. On the left, there is a
farmer, which is representing the sustainable agriculture in developing countries. Working towards the right, the windmills
represent the goal of affordable and clean energy. There are three pillars holding up a cityscape of Calgary. The pillars
represent the three pillars of sustainability which are social, economic, and environmental. The coral reefs and fish represent
the importance of the world’s oceans and underwater life. On the right, Chief Mountain is a sacred place for the Blackfoot First Nations.
