Butterfly 208

Canadian youth express their vision for the world... Butterfly 208 is an annual art, writing, and multimedia contest that challenges Canadian youth between 14 and 18 years old to learn about global issues and express their vision for a better world. The program gets its name from the theory that a butterfly flapping its wings in one part of the world can cause a hurricane millions of kilometres away. One flap. Global impact. The works on display here are just a few of the thousands of entries received in the 2004 contest. For more information and to see more winning flaps, check out www.bp208.ca. ____________________________________________________ De jeunes Canadiens exposent leur vision du monde...
