Torture

This collage of photo, type and graphic is meant to stir emotion. It is an 11X17 poster. I made this b/c people do not hear about religious persecution (the result of religious intolerance). This piece is meant to shock and disturb, it addresses a critical part of human nature - the need to believe in something more, to hope and pray, to be spiritual. To be killed for believing in such things is one of the greatest tragedies I know. Why the media does not show or talk about what is happening is strange. I am a Christian so I focused this piece on this religion, but others suffer similarly. All I ask is that people be aware of religious intolerance. I hope things will change soon for the sake of those whose lives are threatened everyday that they believe.
