This piece was inspired by my favorite hobby, tennis. The boxes are stacked to form a block puzzle and the photographs represent both happiness and sadness. Some of the images are blurry so show how upsetting it can be to mess up. Although tennis is a sport I enjoy, it can be a struggle at the same time. The artwork is relaying to tennis, but the concept applies to life in general. Through any experience, whether happy or sad, you are “building up” and becoming sturdier.
