Mitigating Poverty by building homes

This was in Peru, 2013. A group of classmates and I from school went on a school community build through TECHO (a NGO that helps fight extreme poverty in Latin America by building homes) we have annually to go build homes for the people in the slum areas. Being there for two days and experiencing what it was like to live in extreme poverty helped me realize how easily I had access to anything; especially water.
