We Are from Here

Toronto is such a central city to our identity, whether we’ve spent our lives here or have only been living here for a few years. That is why I decided to use the Toronto skyline as the main focal point and foundation of my poster. Toronto is the one place that connects all of us, it is the foundations of who we are. This is where we are from. In our constant journey of self-discovery, it is not just one moment that defines us, but a series of moments that, when summed up and played in succession is like a filmstrip. The inclusion of speech bubbles serves to illustrate the constant communication that exists both internally within yourself and externally with those around you. Artist: Julia Tang
