International Polar Bear Day Art Contest
Students, from Kindergarten to Grade 12, from Pembina Hills Regional School Division and Alberta Distance Learning Centre, are invited to celebrate this year’s International Polar Bear Day through artistic expression. We are inviting you to create and share a form of visual art (i.e. painting, photography, sketch, drawing, digital productions) that reflects one or a combination of the following essential questions: - What can I do to reduce my carbon footprint? - What are the effects of global climate change on today’s world? - Why is it important to preserve the polar bear population? - What are the consequences if we don't preserve the polar bear population?
