International Virtual Exhibition on Children's Rights
Images play a vital role in our perception of reality.
A baby recognises a smile on his mother’s face long before he starts speaking.
Children draw the world around them to tell others how they see it before they aquire literacy skills.
Images as social messages evoke us to think, act and feel responsible.
We learn to stop at the red traffic light, give a seat to the elders or be quiet in the library. Our rights and responsibilities are built on the perception of what global citizenship is.
Visual arts inspires us to go beyond ourselves…
As a part of the International Collaboration the ‘EYEBEE’ Digital Exhibition is an opportunity to showcase the exceptional pieces of artwork of children from Turkey, USA and India as active spokesmen of children’s rights to health, education, family life, play and recreation, who want to make their voices heard in times of pandemic.
