Russia Through the Eyes of Youth
Do you remember instances when spoken words failed to capture the complexity of your feelings and experiences? Sometimes silent images can say more than words through the profound and versatile language of art. The new art contest, Russia Through the Eyes of Youth, is a great opportunity to show many young people around the world how you, as a young person from Russia, see your country and people. Capture your vision of contemporary Russia and its people through the language of images by participating in the new art contest from TakingITGlobal! Eligibility requirements: 1. Russian citizenship. 2. Under the age of 30. 3. Registration at TakingITGlobal’s site (registration is free; http://www.takingitglobal.ru) 4. Submitted artwork should include your name, date of birth, your username on TIG’s website, title of the artwork, category of the artwork (see the list of categories below) and your contact information (address, phone number, and e-mail). Technical requirements: 1. The size of the submissions sent by mail should not exceed A4 format. 2. The size of the submissions sent by e-mail should not exceed 1 Mb (preferred formats are jpg, bmp, gif). 3. The size of the submissions uploaded on to the website should be no less than 150x150 pixels, and no more than 600x800 pixels (size should not exceed 300 Kb).
